Intranasal Esketamine administration in catatonia: a case report.

Introduction Catatonia is a complex psychomotor syndrome that often goes unrecognized and, consequently, untreated. Prompt and correct identification of catatonia allows for highly effective treatment prevention possible complications. Benzodiazepines electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) are the most widely studied methods. However, no uniform method has yet been brought forward previous attempts to treat on patient suffering concomitant major depressive disorder (MDD) with NMDA receptor antagonists have documented so far. Objectives To describe unknown novel management MDD intranasal esketamine, antagonist.
